Society for Market Studies – SMS is an independent organization dedicated to the promotion of best international practices from the financial markets. Primary focus are analytic practices.

Investment industry in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Serbia, Montenegro and in the wider region is facing the choice: make use of accumulated knowledge and experience from developed markets and innovate on one hand, or remain passive and uncompetitive on the other. The Society is open for membership to everyone with professional, academic or private interest in financial markets. Mission of SMS is to educate, innovate, exchange experience and cooperate in the interest of better understanding of often perplexing financial markets. SMS is open for private investors and traders, academic institutions, students, and journalists who wish to improve understanding of technical and general financial analysis.

Difference between more and less developed markets is not only in liquidity or size, but also in the professional standards. This is why the Society for Market Studies supports integration of analytic methods and promotes coherent development in the financial industry of the region.
